here's an overview of the last few days of my study life. The Last 3 days, and the day before the exams.














here's what i've brought to school on the last day of school. because of 2 open book exams. my bag was super heavy... boohoo... and i got stupid migraine throughout both papers.. boo... and i blame the bag... stupid bag is so heavy.. give me headache... boo...

first few hours of "graduation"

these are the things i've done:

saturday:

1. went ps and bought "full house" dvd.
2. went home. watched disc one of the abovementioned dvd
3. sleep...

Sunday:

1. woke up at 1pm for Sunday
2. had lunch, finished watching dvd @ 2am
3. sleep...

Monday:

1. did nothing but sleep and write this no good silly blog

cuz Gary's too busy.. still... only saw him on Friday and Saturday.. good lo.. next time when i start work dun have to meet up le.. v good.

rubbishy rubbish

OMG! took my FIRST PAPER of the term today................ i dunno what to say about this paper... it's totally totally not easy................ 5 qns in 2 hours... approximately 20 min a qn... the remaining 20min is trying to get over the shock..

the first qn... i took 40min.. because i have to define and define and define.... after the first qn... i was going... "shit..............".. then didn't dare look at the clock while i attempt to rush through the other 4 qns... THANK GOODNESS for a slack prof... and of course prof's who still remember the days they sat for exams... i'll tell u why now...

my exam paper is in this format:
Part A - 3 qns on Free Trade Agreements
Part B - 2 qns on International Arbitration Act

first qn of free trade agreement is tough.. seriously... tough... it's the one i took 40 min to answer... 2nd qn was a "follow up" (if i don't remember wrongly) so this took 20min exactly... 3rd qn........ i can only say............. i'm so so so relieved.... it's a 5 part qn. but it's a yes/no type. i still remember the requirement of the quesion.

"Explain BRIEFLY your answer"

it's so cool. i took his words literally.. i explained it briefly.. well.. it took 1 and a half pages for the 5 part qn.. pretty short huh... took me 15 min to write it... total time used: 75min out of 120min..

Part B: (time left: 45min)

first qn... not easy.. i basically have to reread the qn again and again.. pretty confused. so i took another look at the qn.. and then at the case that is similar to the qn and then at the International Arbitration Act. and then... DING DING DING DING!! jackpot.. know what to write le... then write write write write write.. what would claimant say, what would respondent say, what would court say... this one took another 30 min..

2nd qn (15min left)... i almost burst out laughing... he gave us an outline...

"Present your answer in an OUTLINE format..." then he gave us this format:

XXX's argument
YYY's argument
XXX's reply
courts' reply with reasons.

i answered according to this lo.. it's basically asking if arbitration is needed... this took... 14min.. i counted... i look at my watch... honestly.. then i slowed down my writing. so the last qn is exceptionally neat.. i'm serious... v v v neat... got underline the subheadings one... pro ah!!!

then the rest of the time.. i'm reading through the answers and beyeoing the prof, seeing when he'll tell us to stop writing... he gave us half a min extra (or so i think) before calling time's up.. which is fine by me... i've finished checking...

i honestly do not know how this will turn out... i just hope i won't do too badly... i just think i won't do well for qn4.. i'm afraid i'll not do well for the other qns too.. this happened before leh.. but when i was eavesdropping the discussions of the other people... they also wrote what i wrote.. so i'm not sure.. really not sure.... hope i can do well.. a B or B+ would be nice. though it's no help to my GPA.. seeing that it's only one module.. i think the other modules will suck.. especially democracy.. i'm aiming an average of C for that.. THAT's how bad it is.. and there goes my GPA.. no more merit leh... will probably get just bachelor... sigh................................. but at least i've graduated.. i'm not getting too bad a degree. it's still a degree..

GARY GOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

URGH that idiot!!!! you know what... he said he'll wait for me in school today... good great gesture....... but then he's got a paper tmr.. so i told him not to wait lor... but he said the gsr is booked le.. i still think he's better suited studying at home.. why risk democracy grades for me... then after that he asked me why i want him to stay at home. well obvious reason right? study lo..... i dun want him to grumble that the school network sucks.. or whatever or that someone knocked on the door or keeps complaining that he prefers studying at home.. it'll just make me feel guilty...

then he went to bed.. ignored my sms-es.... he usually told me he's going to school especally if the paper is a morning paper.... but then.. this morning he ignored me again.. i dunno if i wanna wait for him @ admin block to meet him for lunch.. but i scared he's got a lunch date le.. cuz he and his econs gals are pretty good friends.. i'm pretty sure they'll be together having lunch @ the coffeeshop next to admin... ARGH!!!!!!!! can he not do this to me?? especially during a time when i'm approaching an upsetting period for the month.... so totally fed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH.....................

words starting to look like wriggly worms

my exams are starting on Thursday (3rd last day of the exam week) and ending on Saturday (Last day of exam week)... I've been studying for almost 14days... ALMOST.. for 4 papers. and while i was reading my Law and International Business notes (my first paper... which starts at 5pm tomorrow... YES 5PM!!!!!!!!!!!) today... the words looked like wriggly worms... man. i must be either super tired... or my eyes are gg crazy... or maybe it's time for me to change my glasses... i just did!!!!!!! i went to the optician today!! i've got nice pink glasses!!!!!!!!! wahahahahaha... so going to show it off soon. hehe..

anyway... it's back to the wriggly-wormy notes again.. enough crapping............. blehz.. wish me luck for the weird paper.. and the paper after (which is DEMOCRACY.. the killer paper...) and the papers after (STRATEGY.. to quote caryn: "sucky strategy".... and Environmental science.. to quote Gary: "captain planet" module.. i really learnt to save the planet!!! REALLY... it's about environmental damage humans have been doing to the earth since ehms.... we existed... like contributing to carbon dioxide.. oil spills... i must really go find the captain planet song and load onto this blog...)

by the way.. does anyone know how to password protect a blog entry????????????????

how to handle exams!

while attempting to cheer up my depressed boyfriend from pre-exam stress... i came up with "how to handle exams"

1. DID YOU... attempt to tear up the exam paper because you do not understand a word of it? - DO NOT DO THAT!!!!!!!!!! Just finish the darn paper and get it over with.. What impact does a few words (... well maybe a few pages or booklets--for those who are super man and woman who love regurgitating stuff from the textbook) have on your life? NOTHING! maybe you will lose some pen ink in the process. but it's just pen ink! so finish the exam paper...
2. DID YOU... want to slap the person sitting next to you or opposite you or in a position (where he can see you face) for looking so smug because he/ she seems to know ALL the answers and is smug-gingly putting up his hands to ask for more booklets??? - DO NOT DO THAT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No point getting ur hands dirty right????? People pretend to be smart only... People pretend to be smart........
3. DID YOU... also want to slap the prof for setting the aforementioned paper? DO NOT DO THAT THREE!!!!!!!!!!!! Because also no point getting your hands and, eventually, your paper dirty because of a few funny people right???
4. FINALLY... do Points 2 and 3 after the paper. you won't be seeing them again any way! How did I do it? If stares could kill, it'll be one messed up scene in front of my exam rooms wherever they are.... *evil laughter*

counting down to the days of freedom

hey hey... in another (lemme count).... 6 more days... i'll be free!!!!! free from exams i mean... then it's another 2 months plus to the real world (ya ya.. me starting work in june.. bah.. there goes my free days)...

i'm supposed to be studying environmental science (this "captain planet" module, as gary used to call it)... but then... "Japan Hour" is on... I'm so addicted to "Japan Hour"... the show features the sights, sounds, and hotels in various parts of Japan. almost ever episode has this hot spring or bath attached.... so cool manz... i wanna go!!!! xingjuan is so lucky to be able to go Japan this may... this woman ah... hen heng ah... but then her's is the budget budget type so won't get to enjoy all the fabulous hotels we see on Japan Hour... but still.. when i have the money... i'm going there.. and no one is going to stop me.. (well except for Gary I guess.. but nevermind... i'll ask my friends to go with me instead... blehz. who cares about Gary and his introverted-ness.... ehms. actually me la. but then again... my world travels got nothing to do with that anyway... ah whatever).. i wanna "pao wen quan"!!!! (heh. a bit out of point horz)

i'll miss my friends in school.. we've got loads of photos.. but not on my phone.... whoever's holding on to my pictures pass to me soon k???? i know my face v lovely but then i also wanna have the pics lehs... lol!!!! for those who doesn't know... my group of friends are cam-whores.. they spend time taking photos of themselves... so most of their blogs consist of photos with their faces in them.. i mean.......... of cos la. it's their blog ma... tt's neither here nor there... anyway... i want my photos. for those who are reading this blog. eh send to me the photos ah! hehehe..

ok it's time for me to start mugging le... exams starting in 3 days time.. boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to quote gary: "i hope for the day exams would be abolished"
