i've shot for the moon and landed!!!!!!!!!

hey all,

a harrowing week it has been last week. I've been actively job hunting... for accounts/ finance/ business development/ management trainee/ etc. I know it's a lot, seeing that i've no experience and all. this is like shooting for the moon.

but i've landed... i have found a job as an accounts executive................................ paying me quite a good salary (above my expected). i'm very excited now... YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

funny things i see in application forms

i've been actively searching for jobs since i left the horror company.

and there is always a qn i have at the back of my mind:

"why do people ask for character references who have no relationship with you and yet state the word "relationship" in the character reference section?????"

hmmm.. life's interesting eh. first i landed a job i'd love to hate, then i'm looking for a job that i might hate to love.

plus on top of that.. uncle goh has decided to join this singapore boardgamers' group. OMG. to be honest. i'm highly suspicious of these dodgy groups. i'd rather stay with a group i'm comfortable with. now he's going for this gathering. sigh. looks like he's out to meet new people and i'm still stuck with my current group.
